Ronald Eugene Cheatham

Ronald Eugene Cheatham was born on May 14 1993. He's number three of my six children - three girls and three boys. He was named after my husbands grandfather and my dads oldest brother. All of our children have been named after family members. We think its important to carry on family names. I hope our kids follow the tradition.

My pregnancy with Ron was really easy. Rebecca and Kim were my hardest but Ron was smooth sailing from the beginning. He was born on his due date! My only child that wasn't late. He was a quiet calm baby and hardly cried unless he was sleepy. He slept a lot and was easy to put down for naps. He still naps every afternoon when he comes home from school!

Elementary school was a bit of a struggle for him. He was in speech therapy for 1st and 2nd grade because he had a bad lisp. It kind of corrected itself and now you would never even know he ever had problems. Roger had a lisp too but his stuck around til about 7th grade. Kids used to tease him pretty bad. Ron got good grades though mostly B's and C's. He got a little better in junior high about a 3.0.

High school has been a little hard but he's doing good. Math is his strongest subject. He hates English like most boys. I think girls do better in English than boys at least that's the case with my kids.

I'm so proud of all my children. I'm going to write a blog about each of them for everyone to read.
