Today is Tuesday, Jun 1, 2010. I just found out that my son Ronald Eugene Cheatham won his sophomore class spelling bee! I am so proud of him! He is so smart there is no end to the possibilities he can achieve. When he was a little boy I just knew he was destined for greatness.
Growing up in Nashua the third of six beautiful children Ron always tried so hard to get attention. Maybe he afraid of getting lost in the shuffle but he was a little ham from the beginning. He was always singing and dancing as acting as goofy as can be! Him and little sister Katie have always been the closest. He takes care of her so good. I don't know what's going to happen when he leaves for college. I bet she'll follow him once she graduates.
William and Roger are closest in age to Ron but for some reason they've never been too close. They don't have the same interests but they get along ok. They are all such great kids. They have done their mom proud! William was president of his 8th grade class and Roger was a great football player until he hurt his knee. I think he would have gotten a scholarship if he hadn't hurt himself.
Ron's three sisters Katherine, Rebecca, and Kimberly have all been blessed with talents too. Katie is a gymnast, Rebecca is just a good all around athlete - softball, soccer, and Kim is smart like her brother Ron. All of my children are just the best but today is Ron's day. Congratulations son!
