Roger Dwayne Cheatham

Now it's time for me to post a special blog for each of my special children. Roger Dwayne Cheatham was born on September 5th, 1991. He was born 6 weeks premature and was only 4 pounds 2 ounces. And now, he's going to be 19 this year! Oh, Roger, where has the time gone. Roger was a very sweet baby. Calm, didn't cry much but didn't sleep as much as his younger brother Ron. Poor Roger only slept about four hours at a time. His daddy and I took turns feeding him in the middle of the night. He was named about my husbands uncle Roger and my great uncle Dwayne. We wanted all of our kids to have family names

Roger got decent grades in elementary schhool. He didn't try too hard in middle school or high school so he just kind of scraped by. But, he has his diploma now and he's planning on joining the Army in August. I really don't want him to but he's making his own decisions now so I can't stop him. I just hope he doens't have to be deployed all the time. I want him to do his time and get some money for college. He has always loved to travel and he's an independent boy so he'll probably be just fine but a mother always worries about her babies.

I love you, Rog!
