Rebecca Lindsey Cheatham

This post is for my lovely daughter Rebecca Lindsey Cheatham. Rebecca is number four of my six children. Rebecca was my biggest baby (and still is :)). She weighed in a 9 pounds 13 ounces. She had the cutest chubby cheeks and beautiful black curly hair. She looked just like a a porcelin doll. Looks are deceiving though. She was very colicy and cried all night long. Her daddy and I never got any sleep. Once we were done feeling sorry for ourselves we had to feel sorry for poor Rebecca too. I think she was allergic to her formula and we tried every kind but nothing seemed to work.

Rebecca was a super star in elementary school. Always the teacher's pet. She turned her work in on time and did a super job on everything. She always tried her best but I'm not sure if it was really for herself or because she liked the attention. She always had lots of little friends, girls and boys.

Rebecca was a cheerleader in 7th grade but decided she didn't want to try out again after that. The girls weren't very nice and she didn't like how they treated each other. I'm very proud of her for that. She kept up her grades but became a little social butterfly so she let some things slide. She had a knack for books anyway and her teachers liked her so much that it wasn't too obvious.

High school has been good for Rebecca so far. She's always had the looks and personality to have lots of friends. She's a lot like her brother, Ronald. People just really like them both. Ron is a lot more rowdy than Rebecca though. He's always making wisecracks and playing jokes on people. Rebecca will be a junior in the fall.

Keep up the good work, honey!
